Effective work health and safety (WHS) management helps ensure businesses create, promote and maintain healthy and safe workplaces for all. Workplaces that effectively engage and support their people in identifying and suitably responding to health, safety and psychosocial risks demonstrate greater productivity, performance and engagement.

An effective work health and safety management system (sometimes referred to as a WHSMS) provides a structured and systematic approach to help create a safe and healthy workplace. It is good practice to have such a system, and it is also a proven method of managing health and safety risks in the working environment.

Greencap’s team of experienced consultants work with a broad range of organisations to successfully design, implement, and monitor solutions for the environment, health and safety and property risks. Considerable emphasis is placed on consultation with people involved in the work as well as integrating environmental, health and safety and property risk management systems within existing business processes. The aim is that WHS is ‘business as usual’.
