Asbestos Training - New Zealand Online Asbestos Awareness Course
Greencap offers its own proprietary online asbestos training course, designed as a cost-effective introduction to the asbestos Health and Safety at Work (asbestos) Regulations 2016 and the Approved Code of Practice; Management and Removal of Asbestos 2016.
This course is designed for tradespeople, maintenance personnel, property managers or anyone who is at risk of encountering asbestos or may need to work with small amounts of asbestos.

Content:
- New laws and guidance around asbestos management in New Zealand
- Properties of asbestos and where it is found in buildings
- Health effects of exposure to asbestos
- Safe management of Asbestos in the workplace
- Working with less than 10 square metres of Asbestos
Assessment:
Online questionnaire assessment. Correct response to section questionnaires at or above a predetermined level, permits participants to proceed to the next section. Upon successful completion of all sections, participants will be issued with a certificate.
Delivery Method:
The browser-based delivery allows training to be conducted at a time and place of the participant’s convenience. The course is approximately 2 hours in duration, and upon successful completion of the section tests, a certificate is issued.
