This course is delivered by Greencap in association with NZQA accredited PTE – NZSafety Blackwoods Worksafe Training.
Designed for:
Any person intending to apply for a licence to supervise removal of friable asbestos Class A or non-friable asbestos Class B.
Unit of Competency
NZQA Unit Standard 29767 Supervise Asbestos Removal
Assessment:
Formal examination and assessment process directly upon course completion. The assessment is moderated against NZQA unit standard 29767.
Delivery Method:
Training is delivered within a public training facility utilising theory and practical activities. Delivery will include instructor led presentations / scenarios, practical activities, and group exercises.
Duration:1 Day
Pre-requisites:For a Class A Supervisor – Unit Standard 29766 Remove friable asbestos; or For a Class B Supervisor – Unit Standard 29765 Remove non – friable asbestos; or Demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills in either friable or non-friable asbestos removal.
Co-requisites:Nil
Pre-entry Requirements:The White card (Australia) Site Safe (New Zealand), or other similar proprietary health and safety induction certification recognised in New Zealand. |
