Greencap Participating in RESP-FIT Program

15 September 2020

Due to differences in facial shapes, beards and stubble, workers may still not be adequately protected by RPE. Only fit testing can give assurance to both the worker and the employer that the RPE adequately fits and provides the intended protection.

The COVID-19 pandemic has intensified the focus on correct wearing of RPE as a risk control against airborne contaminants and biological hazards.

To address this, the AIOH has brought forward the launch of its RESP-FIT website to showcase its newly developed world class program for assessing the competency of fit testers and the quality of respirator fit testing training courses.

Respiratory Fit Testing RESP-FIT Approved Organisation

Several Greencap team members who hold Certified Occupational Hygienist (COH) or Full Member status have been recognised and listed on the AIOH website as experienced at performing Respirator Fit Testing, whilst Greencap seeks to achieve full accreditation through the RESP-FIT program, for both our training and consultants, against the requirements of AS/NZ 1715 and ISO 16795-3.

Speak to Greencap to discuss your organisation's requirements and organise fit testing for your workforce.
